TYSYNTAN TKM - S Neutralisimg agent for the Leather Industry PRODUCT PARTICULARLY RECOMMENDED FOR NEUTRALISATION OF CHROME TANNED SOFT LEATHER. Chemical Composition Phenol-sulphonic acid with buffering salts. Characteristics aspect : light pink colour free flowing powder active matter : 94% min pH of 10% sol : 7.5 ± 0.5 solubility : readily soluble in water Properties Tysyntan TKM - Scombines very well with chrome tanned leather. Thanks to its buffering action, it raises the pH value of the leather moderately , & reduces extremely cationic character of the surfaces ,thus making the spread of the retanning materials easier without any astringency or hardening. Tysyntan TKM - S is lightfast. Tysyntan TKM - Streated leather gives full shade in dyeings. Tysyntan TKM - S can be added undissolved. Tysyntan TKM - S contains buffer system which doesn't raise the pH of the leather drastically ensuring safety neutralisation. Uses Recommended dosage for soft leather manufacture is 1-2% Tysynyan TKM - S shaved Weight in neutralisation stage. For neutralisation of Sheep garment leather recommended dosages is 2% Tysynyan TKM - S on shaved weight. For neutralisation of Buff Upholstery leather 2-3% Tysynyan TKM - S on shaved weight can be used.
