Characteristics aspect : green coloured powder active matter : 95% min pH of 10% sol : 3.0 - 5.0 chromic oxide : 12% solubility : readily soluble in water Properties Tysyntan TRN is intended specially for the manufacture of soft leather which shows a fine, smooth grain and good fullness without alteration of the typical chrome character Tysyntan TRN solution is less sensitive to any sudden rise of the pH (which increases the precipitation figure) . This offers a better chance to get a fine grain, free of chrome stains and uniform distribution of the chrome throughout the leather. Tysyntan TRN is a combination of chrome-syntan complex and neutralizing agent which react slowly and thus increase the basicity of the chrome before fixing on leather with a mild neutralizing effect. Uses For rechroming of cow upper leather recommended dosages is 4-5 % TYSYNTAN TRN on shaved weight.
