| TYWET - TBI |
| TYWET - TBI is a print - paste additive which improves fabric wetting & overcomes foam formation & ensure non-effective colour yields & design register adversely. |
| * Chemical Nature : | Anionic. |
| * Chemical Composition : | Based on sulphonated oil. |
| * Physical Appearance : | yellowish brown liquid. |
| * Chemical Compatibility : | Stable to hard water & highly concentrated alkalies. |
| * 1% soln. pH : 6.0 - 8.0 | |
| (D.I. Water = 7.0 used) | |
| * % Solid content : 43.0 - 47.0 | |
| ( @ 120°C for 2 hrs.) | |
| * Solubility : readily miscible with water. | |
| Properties : | |
| * Tywet - TBI is particularly
useful in printing fabrics which otherwise have low penetrability &
hence low dye fixation as well as high risk of colour bleeding. * Tywet - TBI is a general purpose wetting agent with low foaming property for a wide range of printing paste. * Tywet - TBI is useful additive in reactive/vat dyeing processes , in piece-dyeing & continuous pad application. * Tywet - TBI has combine efficiency of wetting & antifoam & hence minimizes frothing during long run on roller or rotary screen printing machine. |
|
| Applications : | |
| * Tywet - TBI is applied
from 1 - 4 % on the weight of the print paste for printing. * Tywet - TBI can be used between 0.5 - 2.0 % for general purpose wetting process. Storage : It may become viscous at low temperature , but recovers it original fluidity on warming. |
